Leadership Overview
Saint Catherine of Sienna R.C. Church is an active faith community and thrives due to the dedication of its leadership for over 100 years!
Today our Pastor, Msgr. Richard M. Figliozzi, works with Associate Pastors, Priests, Deacons, Laity Staff and Parish Leadership Volunteers in his efforts to ensure the spiritual, corporal and temporal needs of our parish family and faith community are met throughout the year.
Pastoral Staff Team consists of our Pastor, Associate Pastors and key Lay Leaders who provide direct support not only to the Pastor but also to other staff/volunteers committed to providing assistance for parish events and activities in the spiritual and social life of the parish, daily operations and many good works of ministry. Leadership Volunteers of Parish include two Parish Trustees, the Finance Committee and a Pastoral Council with responsibility for ensuring spiritual and fiscal stability of the parish as directed in canon law, the Diocese of Rockville Centre and SCS Parish Policies, Guidelines and Standards. Volunteer Parish Ministry Leaders provide support through their guidance and leadership of over 50 ministry groups which includes ministry in areas of liturgy, faith formation, prayer/devotions/scripture study, family, special events and activities, outreach programs and services and administration with assistance of hundreds of volunteers in the delivery of a variety of good works in parish ministry.
