Special Opportunities for Giving

Giving Tuesday

A global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.  It is celebrated on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving here in the USA and follows the shopping events of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.   GivingTuesday kicks off a season of charitable gifting with focus on holiday and end-of-year gifting.  Shopping for bargains not only helps us save but also helps major and local retailers thrive.  After saving on the special shopping days, one of the best ways to get involved is to help our Catholic Church and its good works in ministry thrive and grow.

As a Faith Community we are encouraged to share our blessings and support "Dramatic Missionary Growth" within our Catholic Church.  Consider donating some of your savings from those crazy shopping sales supporting our efforts in providing spiritual, social and charitable activities through our ministries here at Saint Catherine of Sienna Parish.  Our Diocese of Rockville Centre also participates and offers a number of options to support specific ministries here on Long Island.

Check out the following ways and options for giving during this special opportunity:
