Supporting Our Parish
Saint Catherine of Sienna Parish serves many people each and every day. Our faithful gather to praise and worship the Lord at Mass on weekdays and weekends; and participate in a variety of spiritual and social activities and events throughout the year. We are a vibrant and active parish because of the continued sacrifice and support of our parishioners and parish family (over 4700 households)!
During this challenging time of Coronavirus we need your support more than ever before! With the ban on Masses there is a serious impact on our parish meeting its needs. Parish ministry continues so please consider continuing your support -- Mail your weekly offering to Parish Office; use Faith Direct which is easy online giving, or Txt 2 Give.
How do we care for our Parish and its future? Through sacrifice and prayer, our parishioners are good stewards giving their time in worship and prayer; and sharing the talents serving in a variety of volunteer ministry positions. Many members of our parish family serve Our Lord by serving others. As a faith community for over 100 years, families and individuals have sacrificed and provided support by gifting their treasure (material resources, monies) for the good of the whole parish while always united in spirit and prayer.
What does your gift support? Because of your gifts we are able to maintain our sacred spaces of worship and prayer - our Church, the Saint Catherine of Sienna Chapel in Sienna Center and Holy Family Prayer Room so many may gather weekdays and weekends in praise of Our Lord. We spread the Good News of the Gospel through the religious education and faith formation of nearly 1,000 children and over a hundred adults annually. Through your gift we provide many good works of ministry including spiritual and corporal works of mercy, numerous acts of charity, programs, services and activities for our parish family, those in need here and in the surrounding community, the marginalized and those with special needs.
How can you give? A family, individual or friend can contribute through Weekly Offertory, Faith Direct Online Giving Program, Txt 2 Give, Catholic Ministries Appeal Annual Giving Campaign, Memorials/Tributes, Annual Sponsorships, Planned Giving, Matching Gifts, Special Event Sponsorships, Designated Funding and General Contributions. Our parish depends on gifts and weekly offerings of our parishioners as well as the generosity of our diocese, family, friends and broader community!
Currently due to Coronavirus (CoVid19) we have experienced a decrease in support. By Easter Sunday we will have had a $107,000 deficit in giving. We need your help!
