Special Seasonal Giving

Donations for Specific Seasons of Year

Special Seasonal Gifting —  Giving alms (funds) is our sacrifice and gift of support to the parish honoring His sacrifice for us. A variety of giving opportunities are made available during various seasons of the year through special collections, self giving or sponsorships.

Advent is a season of preparation and prayer in anticipation of the coming of Christ.  In this season we often participate in additional prayer services and gift of our time, talents and treasure (funds).

One may choose to sponsor the greens of the Advent Wreath.

The Christmas Season begins at midnight Mass on the eve of Christmas; parishioners, friends and visitors gift in this special season with their additional sacrifice and generosity.

One may choose to sponsor the various trees during Christmas Season.

Holy Week starts on Palm Sunday; our Easter Season is the highlight of our liturgical celebrations remembering Christ’s Death and Resurrection.

One may choose to sponsor the Paschal Candle in Church or Saint Catherine of Sienna Chapel for the Season and it is also used throughout the year for Baptisms.

Contact the Pastor Rev. Douglas R. Arcoleo, Stewardship Coordinator, or the Parish Office for more information at parishionoffice@stcatherineofsienna.org.
